Transposition of Internal Floods
I have feared the flooding of dreams,
I must tell you.
The waters have been invading the lands where structures exist,
And they have also been invading my nights
and drowning my dreams.
I fear to say
that the waters may be invading yours as well,
But some dreams die early, even before the break of day.
This is about the moment in the history of men
when waters become violent,
changing every planned route for the construction of their world.
It should have long been known that the only being capable of holding true power
is the one able to enter through the cracks.
Water is mother within patriarchal domains.
“for certain souls water truly holds death in its very substance (…)
it is full of reminiscences and divinatory reveries.”
— Gaston Bachelard
